What is it?
Microneedling, or collagen induction therapy, is a minimally invasive procedure that uses a device equipped with tiny needles to create controlled micro-injuries on the skin's surface. What to expect
For optimal outcomes, we suggest a sequence of 4-6 procedures, each separated by a 4-6 week interval. Following treatment, the skin will be flushed in appearance. You may also experience skin tightness and mild sensitivity to touch on the treated area. This will diminish greatly after a few hours following treatment. After 12 hours, you can wash the area with a gentle wash, and after 24 hours, if you have treated the face, you can apply mineral makeup.
Optimal outcomes are achieved when microneedling is complemented by a skincare regimen recommended by the skin care experts at DGC.
